My Background

My love for photography began at a young age when I went on a photography expedition in Alaska at the age of 8. I started taking pictures of wildlife whenever I got the chance. My love for photography became a serious passion when I started taking it in High school. Photography is a massive part of my life, and I intend to pursue a career in this field.

The nature in Florida goes overlooked by many, even by those who are constantly surrounded by it. Luca Martinez inspired me to show the unique ecosystem that is Florida. As Florida begins to expand, we lose a lot of aspects that make Florida as amazing as it is. People need to appreciate the beauty of Florida, so they realize that if we continue on the path we're on, Florida won't be the same. This year, during art, my portfolio will focus on shedding light on Florida's unique ecosystems through underwater, aerial, and above-ground photography.
